Navisworks add-in
Real solids out of Navisworks. Not meshes.
Unfacet rebuilds Navisworks geometry as true solids and sends it to AutoCAD or Plant 3D with the Navisworks properties as block attributes. One line per edge on your drawings, not one per triangle.

Clean drawings
Cylinders, fillets and planes come back as single faces. Orthos, VIEWBASE and hidden-line viewports draw them like native solids.
Properties as attributes
Tick the Navisworks properties you want. In AutoCAD each item becomes a block carrying them as attributes.
Level of detail
Set a minimum feature size and bolt holes, small fillets and pins below it are left out.
How it works
Export in Navisworks. Import in AutoCAD.
Export Solids
Select items or the whole model, choose the properties, press Export.
Rebuild
Each object is fitted with planes, cylinders, cones, spheres, tori or smooth patches and closed into a valid solid. Anything unresolved is kept as a faceted solid and flagged.
Import and attach
One command imports the STEP; a second matches every solid to its metadata and builds the attributed blocks.

FAQ
Do I need the original CAD files?
No. Unfacet works from the geometry in the NWD, NWC or NWF.
How accurate is it?
Every exported vertex lies on the rebuilt surface within 0.02 mm (0.05 mm on free-form patches). The mesh Navisworks holds is the vendor's own faceting; Unfacet recovers the surfaces it came from.
What if an object can't be rebuilt?
It is still exported, as a faceted solid, and named in the log. Nothing is dropped.
Does anything leave my machine?
No. Export and reconstruction run locally.
