Terms of Sale and Licence

These terms apply when you buy, download or use software made by PlantDraft, including Unfacet. PlantDraft is an Australian business (ABN pending), contactable at support@plantdraft.com. "You" means the person or organisation that buys or uses the software.
1. Who you buy from
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payment and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase itself; these terms apply to the software and the licence.
2. The licence
When you pay for a plan, PlantDraft grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software for your internal business purposes, for the number of seats you bought. A seat is one Windows user account on one computer at a time. You can move a seat to another computer by deactivating it on the first one in the licence dialog.
- Monthly and annual plans are subscriptions. The licence lasts while the subscription is paid and renews automatically until you cancel. Updates released during the subscription are included.
- Perpetual licences do not expire. They include updates released within 12 months of purchase; later updates can be bought separately.
- The trial lasts 14 days from issue and is limited to 10,000 triangles of exported geometry per day. It is for evaluation, one trial per person or organisation.
The software checks its licence on your computer and, for subscriptions, online about once a week. It keeps working offline for up to 30 days between checks.
3. What you may not do
You may not resell, sublicense, rent or share the software or licence keys; use one seat on more computers or accounts than you paid for; remove, bypass or tamper with the licence checks; or reverse engineer the software except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
4. Your data and your output
The software processes your models on your own computer. Your model geometry is not sent to PlantDraft. Files the software produces from your models (STEP files, metadata files, drawings) belong to you, subject to any rights of the owners of the source models.
5. Engineering use
Unfacet rebuilds solids from the triangle meshes Navisworks stores. The result is an approximation of the original design within the tolerances stated in the documentation, and it can only be as good as the mesh it starts from. You are responsible for checking output before using it for design, fabrication, construction or any safety-related purpose. The software is a drafting aid and does not replace the source model or professional judgement.
6. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
7. Support and updates
Support is by email. We aim to reply within one business day, Australian Eastern time. We may release updates that change or remove features; we will not remove a core feature from a version you have already licensed.
8. Warranties and liability
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms limits those rights or any other right you have by law that cannot be limited. Apart from those rights, the software is provided as is, and PlantDraft does not warrant that it is error-free or suitable for any particular project. To the extent the law allows, PlantDraft's total liability arising from the software or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the 12 months before the claim, and PlantDraft is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or production.
9. Ending the licence
You can stop using the software at any time and cancel a subscription through the link in your Paddle receipt or by emailing us; it stays active until the end of the paid period. PlantDraft may end a licence if you seriously breach these terms. When a licence ends you must stop using the software.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version in force when you buy or renew applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of the Australian state where PlantDraft has its principal place of business, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction.

Navisworks, AutoCAD and Plant 3D are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc. PlantDraft is not affiliated with or endorsed by Autodesk.
